So, let's say for a minute that the universe created everything. I know, it's really basic, but going into detail could take a whole book, and I'm already working on one about something fiction, so I'll skip that. The universe created *everything* in existence. Buy into this for a minute.
So what created the universe?
I'm sure it wasn't a big bang, or anything. Something would have to make the big bang. Of course, we would then have to know what created the thing that made the big bang. Yeah, okay. I can't believe the universe was created from a single, microscopic point. Where'd the point come from? Where did the thing that made the point come from? Sounds like a really big, unsolvable dilemma, doesn't it? I mean, the way I'm talking, it almost sounds like we don't exist at all.
::Perk::
What was that? Say it again! WE DO NOT EXIST AT ALL! That's the only thing I can come up with anyway. Oh, sure, it seems pretty realistic. I'm sure if I jump off a cliff onto some pointy rocks, I'll die. But this is reality to *us.* It's the old "define reality" deal. Real to us doesn't necessarily have to be real.
Okay, so we don't exist. Why can I see everything? (That was the question, what follows is the answer.) You can't. It's an illusion. Everything you know, emotion, sight, that mouse in your hand, it's all a pretty nifty, pretty wild, perfect illusion. What we do in the illusion is entirely up to us, which is why I don't believe in fate.
Cont'd next entry . . .

What made the illusion? Sorry, but I am a complete smart-ass.
LOL, the illusion doesn't exist, silly. That's why it's an illusion.
