Random Thoughts

Yes, "thoughts" with an "s."

I think men are attracted to me mostly because I seem sweet and innocent, and I bring out that protective instinct.  And I don't necessarily mean "attracted" in a sexual way, either.  I mean attracted to me in general.

How come we call people "roommates?"  Aren't they generally dorm mates, housemates, apartment mates, or some such?  Why don't we just call them "livingmates?"

And finally . . .

"Yo."  I love that word.

thought number one....yep very likely.

thought number two....just a guess, but i imagine it goes way back to when people were very poor and a domicile consisted of one room, only.  hence the name stuck, and hasn't changed with the times, now that we all live in multi room homes?  like i said just an lightly educated guess.......:)

thought three.....hummm...a word i just don't get, myself?  it kinda annoys me generally, but especially when older people use it.  there is something nice about getting old and acting like it in speech and actions.  that's just me though, of course.:)

To thought number one...I think it's probably true.

To thought number two...I have no idea, but I think J's is the best guess.

To thought number three...I don't like that word.  It just seems stupid to me.  Let me rephrase that.  It seems stupid when someone white says it.  I don't know why.  I guess they just can't pull it off.  There are exceptions.  There always are.  But in general, that's my take on "Yo."
