Will They Ever Stop?!

Not likely.  I'm in love with photos.

#1:  My sister left my grandfather's house a day or two before I got there last summer.  We originally meant it to be a full family gathering, but mine & Clint's plans to visit got pushed back, and we didn't make it in time to see Heather, Frank, & Lilly.  I was originally going to exclude a full family photo because I thought it might upset some of the more conservative people, but then I just said to hell with them.  This is my family.  Left to right is Grampa, Lilly, Frank (my brother-in-law), and Heather (my sister).

#2 & #3:  Both professional pictures of my niece, Lilly.  She is such a doll!  When I went to Charleston in January to see family, I got to really play with her and see her for the first time.  She's got a face that's always full of animation.  Everything she's thinking is written all over her face, and it's so cute.  I got tons of pictures of her on her birthday, but I haven't found the roll they're on, so they've not been developed yet.  When I get them developed, they will be here.  At first she was very shy of me, but I won her over in a matter of a couple of days.  ;)  I have a way with kids, especially great kids like Lilly.

I always vote "to hell with them" when it comes to conservatives.  Cute kid.  And your sister...she's kinda hot.  Not as hot as you, but still.  The good looking ones are always taken.

Yanno, I could be modest or something, but . . . to hell with that, too. lol  Thank you for the nice compliment.

As my friend Robbie says, "The beauty runs in the family."  We're a pretty nice-looking bunch.

why not a full family pic?  looks like a fine family to me.  your niece is absolutely adorable!   whoever these conservative chuckleheads are that you were worried about....p*ss on them.  no one should ever make another feel ashamed of their family in anyway.  imho, you should be proud.

This is my sister's whole family, at least all there is now.  Lilly is two, and I'm not sure if Heather & Frank are planning on having another one either in the near future or ever.  Let it be known that no matter how cool all of you are, my two-year-old niece is cooler.  lol  She rocks my socks.

Yeah, I was trying not to upset anyone (interracial marriages really bother some people, for a reason unknown to me--I mean, it's not THEIR marriage, so what does it matter?  lol), but then I figured, "This is my journal, my family.  Hmmm, kinda seems to go together."  If I had a picture of EVERYONE (me, Dad, Clint, Grampa, Patti [that's my step-grandmother], and Heather's family) I wouldn't hesitate to put it up.

Hopefully more pictures will follow soon, as I get them developed.  The problem is remembering to get them developed.

well good thing all of us here aren't narrow minded...i mean except in car likes, lol.:)

no, seriously those "kinds" of people are idiots, imo.  i judge people on who they are, not what they are.  if everyone did that it would be a better world, well sort of.:)

oh and your niece IS real cute.  good looking kid, imho.

Oh, yeah, I've got pictures of a bunch of us from my trip to SC . . . they're one of those rolls I still have to get developed.  Group pics of Heather, Frank, Lilly, Clint, Mom, and myself.  I have very few pictures of my parents, but I'm trying to scrounge some up.  I also have more pictures of my own trip to Florida, including ones of Dad, Grampa, Patti, Clint, and me.
