Okay, so maybe it's not as important to men as it is to women, but why can't they ever remember anniversaries? Yesterday was mine and Clint's two year wedding anniversary. Not to be confused with our other anniversary which denotes the total time we've been together.
For the second year in a row, he's forgotten. Now honestly, you'd think if you botched the first one so completely, you'd make damn sure to remember the second, wouldn't you?
Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

yikes!! two strikes.:)
i'm not good to comment as i would forget my own birthday if someone didn't remind me of it.....seriously. although....even though i feel bad for your husband, as i'm thinking he is going to get the "wrath of Ave"....i won't say this time give him a pass...that's for sure. didn't go over too well last time.:)
btw, happy anniversary!:)
j.h.
You know, this type of thing really makes me angry. It's not that I think some guys just don't appreciate what they have. I think they do. But at the same time, I think they fail to realize that they have to let the ones they care about know how much they appreciate it. Anniversaries are the perfect opportunity for that. But so is a random day.
Guys! Pick up a rose on your way home from work and give it to her. Turn off the tv and playstation and tell her how much you love her.
Sorry, I should rant and rave in my own journal. My jealousy of what other guys have is getting the better of me. And then there is the lack of sleep...lol
Aw, I'm sorry Kris! :( Forgetting an anniversary two years in a row...arg, bad Clint! :( I'm sure he'll find some way to make it up to you hun, guys can be such losers some times...
Anyway, happy anniversayr honey! Congrats!! :)

JH , LOL ....DO NOT say ANYTHING about a pass! LOL
Rampage , You are SO SWEET! What a sweetheart...
Sorry to hear this Avril and I almost cannot believe it.
But then again I wonder...what would you think of this....This is funny , excuse me for finding the ridiculousness in my own question but....
If Clint HAD remembered your anniversary and he had given you a vaccum cleaner , you know - for around the house and stuff , for an anniversary gift - would you feel better because he at least remembered?
Just wondering , as this has happened to someone close to me....LOL
OH MY!
Well , if its any consulation and I hope it is - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
:D
Oh, sweetheart is it? I usually don't get to the pet names until the third date anyway...lol. Thank you.
I'm a little late getting responses in, as I'm not getting notified when I get comments right now, but thanks all . . . and it's a good thing you didn't tell me to give him a pass, J!!
Grrr.
Robert, I think both men *and* women should do something spontaneous, to show that they don't only appreciate the one they love once a year.
Brenna, we did a "belated anniversary dinner" the next night, but it's just not the same once you've said, "By the way, today is our anniversary." You know?
All4Eyez, lol to your whole message. And yes, even though I'd be a little bummed that he got me a vacuum cleaner (and who wants that on the most romantic day of the year?), I would at least be happy that he remembered the anniversary.
IMO, forgetting the first anniversary is the worst. I mean, I know it's the first and maybe the first is hard to remember since, after all, you've never had to remember it before, but it's also the first one! The most exciting one, the one where you made it the first year.
Yeah, yeah, I know, there's always next year . . . ::sniff::

I agree that everyone should do it, but I get to yell at guys since I am one. But...
Ladies, we might not always act like it but we love it when you say "I love you" as we're about to fall asleep, and they're isn't a guy who doesn't love a pleasant surpise.
Surpise? I really need to pay more attention...that's supposed to be "surprise."
Ah, give me a break, I have not slept in a while.
